UW Credit Union Prevents $1 Million in Losses

In less than a year, we’ve prevented our members from losing more than $1 million to scams. 

There’s a range of scams out there – from small Facebook scams to large cryptocurrency investment scams – and they’re constantly evolving. 

Our approach to fighting them is two-fold.  

First, we provide members with resources on what to watch for.  

Second, using knowledge, experience, technology and keen awareness, our staff watches for red flags in our members’ transactions and takes action to protect your hard-earned money.
